Abstract

The pelvian presentation keeps on bieng a point of discussion in the way of childbirth ending in our days, due to its implications in the perinatal morbi-mortality indicators, that is why we make an study in the "Julio Alfonso Medina" Hospital from Mtanzas, during the years of 2002-2003 and of total of 6046 childbirth occured, 315 corresponded to a pelvian presentation, which is the 5.2% of the total, a register book was authorized, where the primary facts were summarized, afterwards they were analyzed and processed in a Pentium Computer in Matanzas University, applying SPSS-21 package, performing a briefly measure: stocking, percentages,low and high values, to make a board, noting that the 72.6% occured by high way, that the amniotic liquid was clear (60.2%), which falls into the primitive ceasary (75.9%), the low Apgar percentage at 5 minutes was 2.1 %, the low weight of 8.0 % and the complications of childbirth were not significants.
