Professoral evaluation.Its qualification in higher medical education

The university professorships evaluation has been a theme discussed in all Universities and in all investigations taht have been carried out two fundamental aspects have been centered, the interest in general society and the scientific community,particularlz by problem
of cost and control in University Centers and the need to undertake the evaluation in the university professorship perfomance as a mean to estimate the efficiency in higher education system and to incur in improving it. The abscence of a model in the university professorship role and the lack of consensus in these criteria are the aspects pointed out in investigations carried out during these years.It results that when the university rofessorship evaluation theme is approached,it should begin with the constitution of a model to estimate the consensus degree that exists over it. The professoral evaluation in the University should start from the following dimensions: teaching,investigative and university-management and at the same they integrate these,the teachers paradigma will be able to be reached and will also be able to fulfill the social request of creation,development and science transmission, the tecnique, culture and science diffussion and extension and social medium culture better results have been obtained in student evaluations at the Health Department in Matanzas Province Medical Science Faculty,as long as the chosen evaluation model has been integrated.Downloads
