Abstract

The systematic preparation of psychologist is necessary to maintain the advanced place of Psychology in the Health Care System and to guarantee its progress in harmony with the development of Public Health Care. That is why the creation of the specialty of Licentiate of Psychology with mention in Health Care was created at the beginning of the century in the Medical Universities. The social responsibility implied in the scientific formation of these professionals motivated the current work, having as objective: To analyze the theoretic bases and fundaments of the effective curriculum in the course of Licentiate in Psychology with mention in Health Care, during the school year 2007-2008. We used theoretic and empiric methods allowing to conclude that theoretic bases and fundaments of the effective curriculum make the proposition scientific and pertinent according to the conditions existent in our country and specifically in the health care system.
